Tatitas Restaurant - Gozo, Malta

A winner of an Award from the Definitive(ly) Good Guide Co. Restaurants. Tatitas has established a glowing reputation for its food, its friendly and charming service and its appearance which, most people make a point of remarking, is expectionally clean.
The village square of San Lawerenz is one of the smallest and prettiest in Gozo and, with comfortable seating at its linen-draped tables, the restaurant offers a unique al fresco dining experience where one can watch the world go by. One can admire the architecture of the monumental church. There is also plenty of space indoors, where the stone walls are a brilliant chalk white and adorned with original paintings by local artist John Grima. Stylish and suprisingly upmarket.
Tatitas is based on  Mediterranean cusine with fresh fish delivered daily by local fishermen.
The menu  changes at least three times during the season and favourites include fresh fish and shellfish,
risotto with prawns and fresh lobster meat, home-made local goat's cheese ravioli, grilled stuffed quail, braised rabbit.
Among the refreshing deserts you will usually fint the Crepe Suzette and Tatitas' special home-made Tiramisu'.
The wine list is very extensive with a good range of prices to suit each and every customer.
The mamager Carmelino Refalo, eversees the dining areas with a smiling and attentive flair.
