The Mythen region is easily reachable. From Einsiedeln one has to go through Brunni-Alpthal or Oberiberg and then over Ibergeragg or if coming from Schwyz, drive up to Handgruobi/Ibergeregg. The ski area includes 3 cable cars and 11 ski lifts. Furthermore, there are a number of restaurants and cosy ski huts, winter footpaths, snow shoe  routes, sled runs and a Fun park  In the summer, the cable cars are open daily and bring you up to a variety of walking routes. Open the whole winter season fromn 9.00 to 16.00. Snow guaranteed and practically fog free.  Right next to the parking (1100 metres) is the ski lift.  The two-stage ski lift brings you up to Haggenegg (1500m) with sumptuous panoramic view of the Alps. The moderately priced ski lifts that lead to 6 km of well prepared ski runs are a particular highlight.  A variety of six different restaurants - from the smart guesthouse Brunni to a small grill hut - are available to while some time away. At the cross-country ski-tracks of the Club Schwedentritt of Einsiedeln. Gross and Alpthal, experiencing cross-country skiing becomes a pleasure. The 30 km worth of tracks for skating or Classic cross country skiing are open from around the end of November to the middle of March.  The choice of tracks provides enjoyment for all levels - from the first time skier to the sport freak.  For beginners, a cross-country skiing school with ski rental is available.  Trained cross-country skiing / snow sport teachers will gladly introduce the secrets of cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing.
