A permanent orienteering course comprises of a number of coded marker posts located at various features throughout the forest which correspond with circles market on an orienteering map. This allows anyone with on over -printed map to try at their own pace a range of orienteering courses varying in navigational difficulty by visiting the market posts in suggested orders.
