City Hall of Stockholm The City hall of Stockholm is a living symbol of the city, a building  buzzing with activities in addition to the annual Nobel Banquet. This architecturally renowned edifice is the venue for important political debate, a busy workplace, a magnificent banqueting hall and one of Sweden's best known tourist attractions. Its 106 metre high tower also makes it a distinctive landmark in the capital. The City Hall was designed by Ragnar Ostberg and inaugurated on |Midsummer's Eve 1923. The City Hall can also be visited with a guided tour. Guided tours are held daily in Swewdish and English at certain hours. At specific times of year, tours are also offered in a number of other languages. The tours are available for individual visitors without pre - booking, but groups of more than 10 people need to book in advance. The F 11 museum is run on an idealistic basis, with the Nykoping Aviation History Association as principal. A number of interested, able and loyal enthusiast maintain and develop the museum. The beautiful S32 Lansen is an example of appr. 4,000 volontary work-hours by the museum technician group. Almost as many hours has been spent on the S29 Tunnan and te S35 Draken as well as the forward section of the SF37 Viggen at the museum, During 2009 to 2011 we have invested appr.. 3,000 hours in our Viggen flight simulator. Our new attraction was inaugurated on October 15th 2011 - previously used for training Viggen pilots.In the simulator you will "fly" in a computer-generated world, with realfunctioning instruments and controls.
