Villa Godthem is a unique villa that was once a private residence completed in 1874. It was built by devoted admirers as a gift to carl Johan Uddman, the famous opera singer.  History tells us that the powerfully voiced Uddman once walked home from the Royal Opera, and inside the hall, he exclaimed, "Jag har Gatt-hem!" which means, "I have Walked home!"
