Miming History Trail "Birchiburg" This trail focuses on the history of miming in the area and provides access to the sites of former mining activities around the " Birkenberg" hill.  A highlight of the trail is the ruin of the former Castle Birchiburg, dating back to the 13th century which can be viewed from a platform. Stone Age Caves  " Teufelskuche" On the east side of the Olberg mountain, a solid limestone formation, visitors can explore a series of caves whose name literally translates as "devil's kitchen". During the Stone Age, these caves were the site of the first human settlement in he area.  A trail connects caves which are accessible and guides visitors from one grotto to the next.
