A cosy, traditional pub oozing character and charm, The Mill is situated in an extremely picturesque location in central Cambridge, overlooking the River Cam and its punting stations. This charming free house reopened in May 2012 following an extensive renovation. Inside, you'll find delicious offerings of fresh food alongside a very impressive range of local cask beers which are served from eight hand-pull pumps. Both the menu and the beers change regularly, adding seasonal variety and interest. All the food - including the bread - is prepared fresh and cooked -on- site. Dishes range from the traditional pub classics such as beer battered haddock and chips to seasonal delights such as pigeon, black pudding, pear and parsnip salad; potted Cornish shrimp and crab with Scottish smoked salmon; and seared lamb's liver with goat's cheese and onion tart.
