Musee du Vin Negoc - Bordeaux, France
Built in 1720 in the heart of the city's historic wine district, the edifice and its decor are typical of classic Bordeaux architecture and well worth going to see just for themselves. Its maturing cellars present the techniques used from 1750 to 1950 for maturing wine to casks. Today, the building houses a number of remarkable collections relating to the Bordeaux wine trade, including is unique series of labels lithographed by Cyprien Gaudon, collections of 16th to 19th century wine bottles and 18thh-century stamps and stencils, and many rare items, tools and machines, often evocative of long sea voyages to the ends of the earth....
