The entire centre of Staufen's medieval old town is listed, including its many fountains, the town hall, and the ensemble of buildings around the market-square.  Explore romantic lanes, look out for canon balls from the 1848  Revolution, and experience European cafe' culture at its best. A small town-map with a self-guided walk is available in the Tourist Information Centre.

Altogether 20 small chapels, each with a distinct history and religious context, can be found in Staufen, Munstertal, Ehrenkirchen, Ballrechten-Dottingen and Bollschwell.
