The International Press Museum of Aachen known as the "registry office" of the world press, a world wide famous museum for newspapers and press history. The museum was founded in 1886. Meanwhile there are more than 170,000 issues, mainly first editions, jubilee editions, and final editions of the international press. Apart from the permanent exhibition ( the history of press till today) the museum offers continuous changing exhibitions, three free internet accesses and current - partly international - newspapers.
