Steak Kebabs with Red Wine- Appetizer
1 pound steak, cut into cubes 12 large fresh mushrooms 4 fluid ounces claret or Burgundy 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 4 fluid ounces salad oil 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon vinegar 1/2 teaspoon powdered marjoram 1/2 teaspoon powdered rosemary Marinate steak cubes and mushrooms. 2 hours in a marinade made by blending wine, salad oil Worcestershire, ketchup, sugar, vinegar and herbs. Arrange 4 beef cubes and 3 mushrooms alternately on skewers. Grill, turning to brown well on all sides. Baste frequently with remaining merinade. Serves 4
