Bethune:   Bethune town square is a stunning example of Art Decor architecture, although the central                    belfry leaves no doubt that you are in the north of France.  The massive Town Hall was                    rebuilt in 1920, the stonework on its facade depicting the towns events and triumphs, such as                    "Croix de Guerre" and "Legion d'Honneur" medals, which were awarded to the town and its                    citizens for the courage and strength displayed in the Great War. Arras:   Arras, the birthplace of Robespierre,  is the capital of the Pas-de- Calais region. Its two huge town squares , rebuilt after being destroyed in WWl, were originally created over 800 years ago. Surrounded by hundreds of Flemish-style houses and shops, the square sit above a vast network of tunnels, which can trace their history from the French revolution to WWl when the British Army used them as headquarters. The view over Arras from the town hall belfry is stunning and,on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Vimy ridge and the Canadian Monument. Berques:  Discover the treasures of Bergues, from the belfry to the abbey of Saint Winoc and the old pawnshop, which is now the Mont de Piete museum. Campo Gallina - Vicenza, Italy

Campo Gallina di Portule, the hollow of Campo Gallina became one of the main logistics centres of the 6th Div. of the Austro-Hungarian army at the end of the Strafexpedition (June 1916), organised like an actual town with a hospital, general store, cinema and small church, groups of barracks, shelters and warehouses. Inside the large hollow dominated by the imposing "heroes monument" the remains of the hospital can be noted from field no. 1303, the military cemetery and the foundation of the small church.
