Campo Gallina - Vicenza, Italy
Campo Gallina di Portule, the hollow of Campo Gallina became one of the main logistics centres of the 6th Div. of the Austro-Hungarian army at the end of the Strafexpedition (June 1916), organised like an actual town with
a hospital, general store, cinema and small church, groups of barracks, shelters and warehouses.
Inside the large hollow dominated by the imposing "heroes monument" the remains of the hospital can be noted from field no. 1303, the military cemetery and the foundation of the small church.
Situated at the foot of the Western slopes of Monte Colombarone in th Alta Val.
