Discover Army Museum Accompany men, women and children on their journey through wartime and peacetime.  Take a walk from 1500s to the present day among fascinating contemporary objects and realistic scenes.  The spotlight here  is not on great battles or celebrated generals - instead, we tell you about the soldiers, their families and the population in general. The Trophy Chamber Russian, Polish, and Danish flags, and other trophies captured in war, are on display from our main collection.  The trophy collection is one of the biggest in the world, and the oldest objects are from the beginning of the 1600s. Restaurant & shop Restaurang Boggarden invites you to enjoy a well-cooked lunch beneath stone arches., or a coffee and cake in the sun inits outdoor seating area. The Thiel Gallery is a museum filled with turn-of-the century Nordic art.  The building was created for the banker and art collector Ernest Thiel and his family, and stands on the Block-husudden headland in the beautiful district of Djurgarden. Symbolism and national roanmanticism are on display here in a contemporary setting, in the form of works by among others Anders Zorn, Bruno Liljefors, Carl Larsson and Edward Munch.
