Experience Lake Malaren's beaches by paddling the Viking Route which passes Kairobadet.   Sattra open- air area and Runsa Hill Fort.  The Viking Route starts at the Staket Bridges and ends in Uppsala.  The Route is 8 miles long and passes hill forts and through beautiful natural surroundings along Lake Malaren's beaches.
if you want to bathe, there are bathing areas at Lake Malaren, Kairo and Sattra.  Coffee areas and canoe hire are available when Kairobadet is open in the summer.

If you want to wander along Lake Malaren there are several alternatives to choose from.  One rambling route takes you past  several thousand-year-old graves and one of Sweden's largest  ship barrows.
