Prague Spring International Music Festival

This is your 65th edition of the Spring festival in Prague, one of the most important celebrations of classical music, which over the years has expanded to include jazz and world music, offers an

extraordinary program of events including, among other things, the presence of conductors Andre'

Previn, Pierre Boulez and John Eliot Gardiner (who will be in charge of the opening concert, with

the English Baroque Soloists and the Monteverdi Choir0 as well as a recital by mezzo soprano

Olga Borodina , pianist Radu Lupu, jazz vocalist Diane Reeves and Anouska Shankar, who

inherited her father's artistic talents and has become an international leader of the sitar.

The festival will take place in about twenty different locations, including the State Opera House,

the Congress Centre, the Waldstein Gardens and the Church of Santa Maria of Tyn.
