Furfooz Park- Belgium

There was human settlement on this site without interruption from the Later Paolithic era to the

Middle Ages. A 4km waymarked path guides visitors past the reconstructed Roman baths, the

fortified plateau and other roman and mediaeval remains, plus some splendid viewpoints over the River Lesse. The path continues down into the valley and passes the entrances to cavesw and caverns. The site and its flora and fauna now has protected status.
