Nougat and Cherry Kisses

1 pkt red cocktail cherries
2 - 3 tsp cherry brandy
200g nougat paste
50g coconut butter
2 tbs cherry liqueur

Decoration: about 10 red cocktail cherries

1 pkt chopped pistachio nuts


Marinate the cocktail cherries with the cherry brandy, overnight.
The next day, melt the nougat in a double boiler.
Stir in the coconut butter, allow to melt,and add the cherry liqueur.
Remove the mixture from the double boiler and cool, stirring occasionally.
Place the marinated cocktail cherry into each miniature metal-foil cup
Fill the nougat mixture into a piping bag with a round nozzle and pipe the mixture into cups.
Allow to set.
Garnish the chocolates with half a cocktail cherry or pistachio nuts.
Keep in a cool place until ready to serve.
