Le Futurisme in Paris - Visit
The world famous Centre Pompidou marks the centenary of the publication of Marinetti's
Futurist Manifesto with an exhibition exploring the role and status of the Futurist movement.
First published on the front cover of Le Figaro magazine on 20 February 1909, the Futurist
Manifesto was the first avant-garde art movement of the 20th century, celebrating technology
and the hectic activity of the modern metropolis.
The exhibition brings together more than 30 futurist paintings from across Europe.
