Jeff Koons in Versailles - Visit
Art lovers may be surprised to find a giant rabbit sculpture, among other curious creations, on
display in the Royal Apartments at Chateau de Versailles as part of the latest Jeff Koons
exhibition.
The controversial American artist is known for his use of kitsch imagery and vivid pop
expression and the works in this exhibition have been specially selected by Koons himself to
create an original artistic dialogue with the surroundings of the King's and Queen's
apartments.
As well as the famous RABBIT in Le salon de l'Abondance, visitors can also see LOBESTER,
a colourful polychromatic aluminum sculpture.
