Calf's Liver Shashlik

1 lb liver cut in 1 1/2 in slices thick
2 medium onions
8 medium sized tomatoes
1/2 lb mushrooms
fresh bay leaves
Oil, Vinegar,salt and pepper
chopped parsley
1 lemon

Slice onions, cut tomatoes in quarters, wash mushrooms wash bay leaves.
Take 8 in long skewers ; bay leaf liver mushroom, tomato, onion and repeat.
Leave to marinate for 1/2 hour.
Squeeze lemon juice and chop parsley.

Grill for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove to a hot dish.
Add little water to the grill pan to make gravy
.
