Foxholes Farm and Shop - Hertford, UK

Foxholes Farm and Shop is well worth a visit. 15 years on from diversfication away from a dairy to a beef farm, and 6 years since opening their purpose built Farm Shop. The Smith Family warmly welcome you to their  new Tea Shop.
Catherine, (now the 4th generation of her family to farm in Hertforshire), explains "Our initial plan  of opening the Farm Shop was always to serve as a comprehensive Butchery, to produce all our own beef and saddleback pork to sell directly to the public.
But immediately upon opening, our customers began requesting a Tea Shop so as to enjoy our farm and its surroundings to the fullest - we have always run an "Open Farm" , encouraging families to visit our animals and their young, in order to understand and educate about livestock and farming. Bringing people more awareness of their food"
Sticking to their shop's ethos of always supplying produce from Foxholes Farm, from other local farms and producers and " Buying British", the tea shop comprises of a selection of 10 different teas and coffee various locally homemade cakes, cream and high teas, as well as light lunches and hot daily specials, using their own meats and local produce throughout .
With their new children's play area and pets corner opening in time for Easter - pop along and enjoy this peaceful little farmyard gem. Children are warmly welcome and parking is free.
