Located in the former 18th Century Market House, Athy Heritage Centre Museum traces th history of the Anglo- Norman town on the Marshes of Kildare. Renowned for the only permanent exhibition to local Polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, which includes a 4.5 metre model of ship Endurance. Audio guides and film footage bring the experience to life.
