Earth Matters
When Natural & Creative Forces Meet
The exhibition Earth Matters is a survey into ecology and sustainability within contemporary art, crafts and design. Trend oracle Lidewij Edelkoort and Philip Fimmano alert us to consider how we over-consume Earrth's resources and how creative forces can contribute to the development of a more sustainable society.
Land Meets Water
The meeting between nature's basic elements is one of the most prominent motifs in the history of photography. With his expert knowledge of European and American photography, curator Peter Galassi (former Chief Curator at the Museum of Modern Art in New York) employing works by unknown and well-known photographers, present an exciting journey from photography's childhood
until today.
