Architecture
The village was built in 1929 as a synthesis of Spain's architectural and cultural diversity. Today we can continue to enjoy the streets, squares and facades that make the Poble Espanyol an authentic Spanisdh village and visitors can admire replicas of buildings from different regions in Spain as they live and breathe the cultural diversity of the country.
Craftsmanship
Over 30 artisans based inside the village whose work can be observed in the making. They fabricate
glass, ceramics, jewellery, Spanish guitars and more, presenting visitors with one -of-a-kind pieces
and establishing the Poble Espanyol as a unique shopping centre within the city of Barcelona.
Contemporary Art.
Fran Daurel Museum a private collection open to the public and home to over 295 pieces from Spain's most influential contemporary artists Picasso, Dali, Miro' Taples and Barcelo', among many
others.
Sculpture garden. with 41 large-scale sculptures where art harmoniously merges with nature.
Gastonomy
In between strolls, arrtistic discoveries and visits to the artisan workshops, visitors can find a wide selection of venues with different types of Spanish cuisine, delicious food a peaceful atmosphere.
