Must see in Langhirano - Italy
Langhirano is 18 km to the south of Parma. Located at the mouth of the Parma River valley on the plain, the town (elev. 265m) which was settled in the early Middle Ages by the Longobards.
The built-up area is surrounded by characteristic buildings with their numerous tall and narrow windows and large terraces: plants for the processing and curing of the "Prosciutto di Parma" (Parma Ham)
