St. Oswald's Church - Zug, Switzerland
In the 15th century a church to the honour of St. Oswald was erected on the site where it was thought
that a chapel to St. Anne had previously stood. Johannes Eberhart, Master of Arts, the priest in Zug, whose family owned both the castle and the land surrounding it, was the initiator of the project, and so
it was that St. Oswald became a patron saint of Zug, along with St. Michael.
