Carnival Soup
3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 small onion, finely chopped
4 cups water
2 cups bouillon(stock)
Salt & Pepper to taste
nutmeg, marjoram
Grated Cheese
Brown flour in melted butter. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon. Add chopped onion and saute'.
Add water and stock and simmer for at least three quarters of an hour.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, nutmeg, marjoram.
Garnish with cheese and serve
