Notre Dame Church - Hesdin - France
Hesdin fell under the Spanish rule in 16th century when Charles 5th of Span destroyed it and
built a fortified town on the banks of the river Canche.
You Can still get a taste of its Renaissance past, especially from the porch of Notre dame church
built in 1582.
The elaborate furniture from the Recollets convent and the stained glass windows are also
particularly attractive.
