THE BEERS: either bottled or pression (draught)

Order a DEMI (25cl) or a GALOPIN (12cl) if you are feeling abstemious. For a

raging thirst you need either a BARON or a PINT (from the English pint but

pronounced pant) - the size of these varies from area to area but is generally either

50cl or 75cl.

SHANDY: For a shandy, ask for a PANACHE; for a shandy with a dash of grenadine ask

for a MONACO.

Beers are oftenserved with a GLUG of SIROP (cordial) order a DEMI-FRAISE,

DEMI-PECHE etc
