Great Market Hall - Budapest

Pay a visit to Great Market Hall ( at a Central Market Hall) at the Pest and Liberty Bridge and Combine shopping with sightseeing.  A great place to stroll even in cold or rainy weather.  The market offers a
huge variety of stalls on three floors. A distinctive architectural feature is the roof which was restored to have colourful Zsolnay tiling.  Most of the stalls on the ground floor offer products, meats, pastries, candies,spices and spirits, such as paprika, tokaji, turo' rudi, and caviar.
The second floor has mainly cateries and souvenirs,  Langos stand is located on this floor, seringthe deep-fried snack called Langos.  The basement contains a supermarket, fish market and pickles.  Not only, do they have traditional cucumber pickles, but they also offer pickled cauliflower, cabbage, beets, tomatoes and garlic.
