The Crownthorpe Hoard - East Anglia, UK

In 1982 a metal- detector user made a starting discovery a hoard of Iron Age and Roman drinking vessels that had been deliberately buried near a Romano- British settlement at Crownthorpe in central
Norfolk.  This archaeologically significant group of objects even includes cups that exhibit a unique fusion of Celtic and Roman styles, unparalleled outside of this hoard.
