Seahenge - Norfolk, UK

The Holme Timber Circle, also known as 'Seahenge' was a prehistoric monument consisting of a timber circle with an upturned root in the centre.  It was most likely built for ritual purposes in the 21st century BC during the early Bronze Age Britain.  After being excavated in the late 90s. Seahenge was lovingly restored and preserved, and is now on display at the refurbished Lynn Museum in King's Lynn.
