Technical Tour - Schauinsland, Germany

The Schauinsland Cable Car - a technical masterpiece.

When inaugurated in 1930, the Schauinsland cable car was a technical sensation as the first loop cable car worldwide.  And even today, it has quite a lot to offer to those interested in technology.  During the technicql tour, have a look behind the scenes of the cable car and not only learn how the loop system and the drive work, but also visit the carefully renovated historical control cab from 1930.

-  Open tours:  every sunday at 3pm
-  Registration :  at least 30 min before the tour starts at the counter of the lower station or by telephone     24 hours beforehand.
- Meeting point:  waiting hall in the upper station.
