Stockholm is a compact city with short distances from place to place. The choices are many, and getting around the city is easy, safe, and convenient.
To Stockholm Stockholm Central Station and the City-terminalen bus station are Stockholm's major hubs for local and long distance travel. Getting here from Arlanda via the Arlanda Express high-speed train takes twenty minutes; you can also take a Flygbussarna bus, which travels in dense traffic. Flybussarna buses also depart from Skavsta to the city.
From Stadtsgardskajen, you can take a bus or the subway.

In Stockholm Public transport in Stockholm is easy, safe and convenient. The subway covers the
entire city and extends to most of the greater Stockholm region. Buses and trams are
convenient and an excellent way to see more of the city. Taking the local ferry service
between the main islands is a great way to see Stockholm and the archipelago.
