Galo - with the largest archipelagp's longest sandy beach - Sweden

At Galo' there is a nature reserve and over thirty kilometres of hiking trails.  Grazed shore grasslands, oak pastures and pine forests.  A rich bird life, plenty of berries, mushroom, game, orchids and butterflies.  And the sound around Galo' is referred to as ' the archipelago's bet salmon water'

You can swim at the seaside resort's long sandy beach or from breathtaking cliffs at Oxno.  Another
lovely destination is Stegholm's farm which has a cafe', bakery and sells own meat.

Galo' has been inhabited fro time immemorial and archaeologists have made discoveries dating back to the Stone Age.
