UENSCO World Heritage Sites In Cyprus

Paphos:  Located in western Cyprus the UNESCO World Heritage site is actually made up of two sites

Kato Paphos & Kouklia.   Because of their great antiquity and the direct link between the two sites and the legend of Aphrodite (Venus), these two sites are noted as place of outstandng universal value.

The Painted Churches in the Troodos  Region.  This complex of to churches and monasteries in one
of the largest of the Byzantine art in Cyprus.  All the monuments are decorated with stunning murals
and range from small churches to large monasteries.

The Neolithic settlement of Choirokoitia :  Located in the district of Larnaka, the Neolithic settlement of Choirokoitia lies on the slopes of a hill.   This site is observed by UNESCO as one of the most
important prehistoric sites in the eastern Mediterranean
