A Green Day Out In The Parks In Enkoping - Sweden

After 40 minutes on the train, climb out and be met by the green atmosphere. Stroll down Drottninggatan and meet one park after another.  After a short walk you will arrive at the Dream Park, "The Jewel in the Crown", which was shaped and designed by Peit Oudolf, the world renowned landscape gardener from Holland.

Continue along our little stream and experience the creativity in our Concept Gardens, which have a new theme each year.  Amongst the Concept Gardens there are also magnificent artworks by different artists.

Lunch or a coffee? Down at the harbour is Hamnmagasien from the 1800s, is one of whose buildings you will find Hamncafe with food and coffee.  The other shops contain handicrafts and other odds and ends.  On the way back to the railway station you will encounter our charming centre with many small, cosy shops.
