- How to Get There
Giardino is approximately 26 km from Bergamo and is easy to get to by car. Take the state road
through the Seriana Valley and near Vertova follow the signs to Gandino. Giandino can be reached by bus from the bus station of Bergamo, making a change in Gazzaniga (www.bergamotrasport.it)

Don't miss a little known, but very interesting water spectacle near Giardino: the waterfalls of the
Vertova Valley. Streams, pools of water of deep colours and magnificent paths: the ideal place for
a walk where time stands still.
- The Crossing Between The Peaks Of The Giardino Valley
This path can be divided into seven successive stages through the municipalities of Casnigo,
Cazzano S Andrea, Gardino, Peia and Leffe. Joined to form a single loop, this path offers expert,
fit walkers an exciting itinerary. The individual stages are instead suitable even for families and
offer both young and old breathtaking scenery!
- Municipility of Gandino - Mount Farno
A hike to the Montagnina (Municipility Of Gandino - Mount Farno) is suitable at any time: on
sunny days it's an excellent destination to enjoy the view over the Pizzo Formico, and during
the winter it's the perfect place for a walk with snow shoes or skiing on the magnificent cross-
country trail. Don't miss a meal at the Parafulmine mountain refuge to enjoy the local food:
casoncelli (stuffed ravioli), polenta with melted cheese, roasts and stews.
