At Helsinki Zoo you travel from cold mountain regions to dry steppes and from northern coniferous forests to tropical rainforests. Animal species from all over the world can be seen at Korkeasaari island 20 minutes from the heart of Helsinki.

The Zoo is open every day except on Christmas Eve.
Ticket sales close one hour before the Zoo closing time. Opening hours:
October - March 10am - 4pm
April and September 10am - 6pm
|May - August 10am - 8pm
Exceptions Midsummer Eve 10am - 5pm
Nights of the Cats in September 4pm -12pm
Make Your Way To The Zoo
The Kauppatori ferry (A) runs every day from May to September. The Hakaniemi ferry (B) runs every day from June to August and during the weekends in May. The bus 16 (C) operates throughout
the year from the Railway Station (pier 8) to the zoo entrance. The Kulosaari metro station is located on the bus 's route
