The Glass Factory - Sweden

The Glass factory in Sweden's biggest glass museum with a glass workshop next door to the exhibitions. The museum owns Sweden's biggest art glass collection, which comprises more than 40,000 objects by about 50 artists.

Explore the exciting interactive exhibition Glasriket forever ! about the birth, development and future of The Kingdom of Crystal. You get to meet glass artists and glass workers in unique film footage, where they talk about The Kingdom of Crystal, and about glass and its importance. The museum has different theme sessions for children and adults, where we share with them some of the very deepest secrets of The Kingdom of Crystal.

Are you curious about the latest thing in glass? The museum invites today's artists and designers in and outside Sweden of experiment and find new forms of expression.

Next door to the glass museum's exhibits the glass workshop. Sit on the stand, and see the glassblowers' amazing skills, or blow your own glass in one of the museum's workshops.|For an out -of-the-ordinary experience, visit one of the dramatic and spectacular glass showed in the workshop and enjoy an evening with a difference that appeals to all the senses.
