Near Vairano, at the Botanical Garden of Gambarogno located between the lake and the mountains, there's a world of traditions and mysterious scents, and the panoramic view is overwhelming. Villages built way up between sky and earth invite you to experience serene moments of contemplation, of meditation. At the Centocampi of Caviano, the fragrance of fresh hay is in the air , and once in a while there's the sound of cowbells bringing back memories of a lost world: a cherished dream reminding everyone of the candid simplicity of life. Two hundred kilometers of hiking trasils wind along the mountain and valleys of the Gambarogno, cutting through chestnut woods, crossing meadows that are like giant flower beds, and here and there you will find an Alpine farm house. Again and again, the landscape opens to reward you with the majestic beauty of the snow-covered peaks of the snow mountains - from the massive Monte Rosa in the west to the ridge of the eastern Ticino Alps.

The Riviera del Gambarogno is an inexhaustible source of genuine values. At the Bolle di Magadino, a microsm its own, one finds a flora and fauna of incredible variety. In its natural extension to the northeast, we encounter majestic castles, the Castelli di Bellinzona, today a cultural world heritage of the UNESCO .
