Barcelona Zoo is set in a sumptuous hundred-year-old garden with naturalised facilities that recreate our animals' habitats in zoo vegetation and the latest advances in zoo design. Right next to Barcelona's old town and very close to the beach, it is easily accessible by public transport and has car parks just a few metres from the entrance.

Barcelona Zoo is a member of the main world organisations whose work is the protection of biodiversity, and through its Foundation it participates in numerous projects aimed art conservation of endangered species. You can also contribute through your visit.
