The Town Hall In Hesdin- Hesdin, France

The town hall was built between 1563 and 1629 and is situated on Place d'Armes, the main square.  The belfry was restored in 1875. The attractive 16th century, Renaissance-style gatehouse was once used as a fort and the original carvings are still visible. The balcony bears the Spanish coat of arms and the shields of
Hesdin and the Artois, while the pediment carries the French coat of arms.
