Govone Tourism - Gavone, Italy

Gavone, the village has about 2,000 inhabitants and is located in a 301 metre-high hill.
The history and social evolution of Govone, a lively community rich in initiatives, has always been linked to its
castle.

Govone the Castle is situated on the left bank of the river Tanaro, in the province of Cuneo, halfway between
Alba and Asti.

The Park:  The Savoia residence is surrounded by a large English park and by a garden with box hedges and small paths converging on a central fountain.

The Rose Garden. has a remarkable collection of roses so came the idea of creating a rose garden in 2000.

The Churches:   San Secondo, the present Parish Church.
                         Holy Spirit, already existed in 1585.
                         S.S. Annunziata, first mentioned in 1662.
                         The Church and Convent of Craviano, dedicated to the "Madonna delle Grazie"
                         San Pietro Parish Church of the homonymous hamlet since 1923
