Schaffhausen - 17, 18, 19 Switzerland

17. - Museum zu Allerhelligen:   The noteworthy museum with its medieval ambience is to be found on the
                                                  premises of the former Benedictine monastery of the Allerhelligen.
18. - Munster zu Allerhelligen:    Built circa 1000, shows the pure forms of Romanesque style of the Hirsauer
                                                  School. The Ronanesque Cathedral Tower, built circa 1200, is one of the
                                                  most beautiful church towers in Switzerland. Brilliantly restored 1975 - 1981
19 - Zum Thiergarten
       Monaterplatz 38                 Imposing manorlike building, erected after reformation of 1529. The
                                                 buildingsite belonged to the former hospital of the monastery of All Saints.
                                                 The renaissance south wing with the oval tower added in 1622, in 1737 the
                                                 baroque west wing. bombardment on the 1st April 1944.
