The Heartland of Prosecco D.O.C. - Valdobbiadene, Italy
Origins: Valdobbiadene most likely owes its name to the river Piave
Old Town Centre: The main square of Valdobbiadene called Piazza Marconi, hosts a Cathedral dating
from the 14th century.
There are two important annual events held at Villa dei Cedri for wine experts and
enthusiasts: "Calici di stelle" in August, and "Forum Spumanti d'Italia" in September.
Continuing along Via Piva, at number 53, we find a Palace named after Celestino Piva
inaugurated on October 1, 1900.
Heading south from the town centre, you reach Via Garibaldi, where the Church of San
Gregorio Magno in Coldereove stands.

production of D.O.C. Prosecco- today's most popular Italian wine throughout the
world.
