Villa Emo - Treviso, Italy
Villa Emo was built around 1560 by Andrea Palladio who attained a superb aesthetic result by perfectly blending the villa into the landscape. The main building features a traditional recessed loggia which is surmounted by a
tympanum displaying the coat of arms of the Emo family.
The walls inside the villa are adorned with frescos by the artist Zelotti. Flanking the villa are particoed annexes which were used for agricultural purposes.
