A slice of Switzerland.
Emmentaler AOC in brief:
It matures for at least 120 days in a cheese cellar, considerably more than most types of cheese
It contains no artificial additives
It is produced in around 180 dairies which still use traditional craftsmanship today.
It is made purely of milk in its natural state
The milk comes from cows which have fed solely on grass and hay in large pastures.
Each Emmentaler AOC can be traced back to its origin and place of production.
