Haribo Museum - France

The Story of a brand

Where did this name come from?
Haribo sweets first appeared in 1920. the brand name came from the first three syllables of its founder's name Hans Riegel, and his native town of Bonn. He made his special sweets in a laundry room while his wife delivered them by bicycle!

Why are they so good?
You must take the best of what nature provides - like sugar, the root of the liquorice plant and a host
of other ingredients.  Having selected these, Haribo adds the personal touch, revealed in full inside the museum.
